Residents of a new housing development in Leeds have seen their energy bills reduced by up to 90% compared to the city average after spending six months in their new homes made from straw bale panels.
The LILAC (Low Impact Living Affordable Community) homes in Bramley were constructed using straw bale technology developed by University of Bath researchers and straw technology companyModcell.
